Auto-Dialer
Definition
Software that automatically dials phone numbers from a list, connecting answered calls to available agents, eliminating manual dialing and increasing call volume.
An auto-dialer (also called power dialer or predictive dialer) is software that automatically places outbound phone calls from a predetermined list of contacts. When someone answers, the call is connected to an available sales agent. This eliminates manual dialing, busy signal waiting, and voicemail dead time.
Types of auto-dialers: Preview dialer (agent sees contact info before the call), Power dialer (dials one number at a time, connects on answer), Predictive dialer (dials multiple numbers simultaneously, predicting agent availability), Progressive dialer (dials the next number as soon as an agent becomes available).
Rivion's telecalling suite includes a built-in auto-dialer with call recording, AI transcription, sentiment analysis, and call outcome logging — all tied to CRM contact records. AI can analyze call recordings to provide coaching recommendations.
How Rivion handles auto-dialer
Rivion's AI-native CRM was built from the ground up with auto-dialer as a core capability — not a bolted-on feature. With autonomous AI agents, omnichannel messaging, and the 9-layer context engine, Rivion takes auto-dialer to the next level.
